Reap Construction began back in 2004, with Bob Reap founding the company. Later he was joined by his wife, Joy, who leads project management and the administration of the business.
From our humble roots as a husband-and-wife team, to now leading a company that employs a large crew of skilled craftspeople and construction professionals, Reap Construction’s growth and success is the product of the close bonds we’ve formed with our clients over the years. We truly love what we do, and we consider it a privilege to help our clients bring their homes and commercial projects to life.
Experts
We approach every project like it’s our own home. We build good teams of smart Vermont construction professionals who collaborate with each other for the benefit of the project and our clients. We know every phase of home design and construction inside and out, and take the time to make sure our clients are well-informed and happy throughout the process. Large residential and commercial construction projects are complex undertakings in the best of circumstances, and it’s critical to pair construction and carpentry expertise with an ability to communicate and manage expectations.
Friends
We’ve become friends with many of our clients over the years and had numerous repeat customers. We naturally spend a lot of time with them during the planning and construction phases, and it’s important to build trust and support with our clients throughout. Despite the fact that we’re no longer just a small business, caring and professionalism will always be part of Reap Construction’s DNA.
Innovators
One thing that sets Reap Construction apart from other Vermont contractors is our imaginative approach and problem-solving skills. We love to work with our clients to come up with creative solutions to their building needs and we push each other to think of the best possible solution for each project.
A great example of this is our work installing standing-seam metal roofs in Vermont. Not only have we become leaders in the field, we also began developing our own metal-roofing products to help other contractors and clients to build better homes. Eventually this led to us creating a separate business, Architectural Metal Supply, that offers patent-pending roofing products and custom metalwork throughout the Northeast.
